About Location
The historical City of Sirhind "pronounced as 'Sarhind' is in Distt. Fathegarh Sahib. It is an ancient town lying along the G.T.Road. It is well connected by rail & road. The city lies midway between Chandigarh  & Patiala and is just half an hour drive from either side.The town of Sarhind is famous for bus/truck body buliding & centrifungal pumps. The city is also famous because of its historical importance & close proximity to the famous Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib.
